The gear is a necessary part in the laser chuck. The biggest advantage of helical gears is high transmission accuracy, but from the point of view of motion smoothness (smoothness of line load curve), spur gears may even do better than helical gears. There are great differences between gears and gears, different requirements and different costs. The manufacturing cost of helical gears used in precision transmission is indeed much higher than spur gears. Gear strength has two aspects, one is tooth root strength, the other is tooth surface strength. Compared with spur gears, helical gears have higher root strength but lower tooth surface strength.
